My Story
My Story
My professional path began in Madrid, where I studied Environmental Sciences at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid while pursuing my dance training. Although science gave me a deep appreciation for observation, curiosity, and critical thinking, I was increasingly drawn to dance. This led me to continue my education with a Postgraduate in Contemporary Dance at The Place in London, marking the beginning of an international career as a professional dancer.
For more than two decades, I have worked as a dancer, choreographer, rehearsal director, and educator, collaborating with theatres, dance companies, and cultural institutions across Europe. Since moving to Berlin in 2011, my work has increasingly focused on collaboration, inclusion, and the expressive potential of movement, while allowing me to work alongside internationally recognised artists and organisations.
Alongside my artistic career, I completed an MBA in 2016, driven by a desire to better understand leadership, communication, and organisational development. My own experiences with trauma, work addiction, grief, shame, and internalised homophobia led me to therapy—and ultimately to train as a therapist myself. Through this process, I discovered the transformative potential of mindfulness, self-compassion, and trauma-informed approaches, which gradually became the foundation of both my personal and professional life.
In 2020, I qualified as a teacher of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and became a Certified Teacher of Mindfulness and Emotional Intelligence through the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute (SIY Global). I later trained as a Compassionate Inquiry® Practitioner and an EMDR Trauma Therapist, deepening my understanding of trauma, emotional wellbeing, and human development. In 2026, I qualified as a Heilpraktiker für Psychotherapie in Germany, allowing me to integrate these approaches into my therapeutic practice.
Today, my work brings together dance, psychotherapy, and facilitation. Although these disciplines may appear different, they are united by the same intention: creating spaces where people can reconnect with themselves, cultivate greater self-awareness and resilience, and discover new possibilities for growth. Whether I am working with an individual, facilitating a group, or creating a performance, I remain guided by curiosity, compassion, and the belief that meaningful change begins by meeting ourselves as we are.
