SIY- Global
Search Inside Yourself (SIY)
The Search Inside Yourself (SIY) program was developed at Google in 2007 by engineer Chade-Meng Tan in collaboration with leading experts in mindfulness, neuroscience, and emotional intelligence, including Daniel Goleman. Originally designed to support employee well-being, resilience, and leadership, SIY has since evolved into a globally recognized evidence-based program delivered by the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute (SIYLI).
The program integrates scientific research with practical tools to cultivate emotional intelligence through mindfulness. Its core components include:
-
Mindfulness – strengthening present-moment awareness and attention.
-
Self-Awareness – recognizing thoughts, emotions, and habitual patterns.
-
Self-Management – responding to challenges with greater resilience and emotional regulation.
-
Empathy – understanding and connecting with the experiences of others.
-
Leadership and Communication – fostering trust, psychological safety, and compassionate collaboration.
By combining mindfulness, neuroscience, and emotional intelligence, SIY helps individuals enhance well-being, improve performance, build stronger relationships, and lead with greater clarity and authenticity.
Creating spaces where collective presence and shared vulnerability lead to profound transformation.
